Can I sync my CSO calendar with my Outlook calendar?

Yes, there are two ways to sync your CSO calendar with your Outlook calendar. To export CSO appointments one-by-one, simply click the orange Outlook icon on the bottom right of your CSO appointments. The orange Outlook icon is visible when you are viewing your appointments from your CSO calendar. To view all entries on your CSO calendar, use the quick link “Calendar” icon in your left navigation pane. To view just your appointment scheduler entries, navigate to “My Profile” from your top navigation bar and click the “View Appointment Calendar” option in the left Page Functions menu.

If your office is interested in automatically syncing all of your CSO appointments with your Outlook calendar, consider our Automatic Outlook Sync function. The Automatic Outlook Sync requires a one time setup which allows CSO appointments to flow directly into your Outlook calendar. The Automatic Outlook Sync is a small additional fee. Can I sync my CSO calendar with my Google calendar?

Yes, you can sync CSO appointments with your Google calendar! If your office is interested in automatically syncing all of your CSO appointments with your Google calendar, consider our Automatic Google Sync function. What type of appointments are included in the CSO calendar?

CSO calendars allow for a range of appointment types. Your CSO calendar allows for manual additions of personal appointments but will also automatically add appointment scheduler appointments, career events, interview sessions, job expirations, observation follow-up dates, placement follow-up dates, and schedule timeline changes.

Which users can access the calendar function?

Administrators, Students, Employer Contacts, and Faculty are all able to use the CSO calendar tool. To access their CSO calendar, users simply need to click the “Calendar” icon in the left navigation panel. The CSO calendar displays events broadcasted by Administrators as well as appointments or events that users may be tied to. For example, an Employer hosting an Interview Session will see an appointment on their calendar for this event while a Student scheduled to be interviewed will see their interview time on their calendar. While most calendar appointments are automatically created by the system, users are able to create their own personal appointments as well.

How can I add a personal event to my calendar?

To add a personal event to your calendar, double-click the date and time you would like to reserve and then complete the appointment form. As you add your personal event, you’ll notice that you may keep your event hidden from other users or you may broadcast it to select user types.

Are my calendar appointments visible to other users?

Calendar appointments are visible to other users if you chose to “Broadcast” your calendar appointment when it is created. If the calendar event is not broadcasted, it will not be visible to other users. Although you are able to hide or broadcast personal appointments, take note that some calendar events are system wide and therefore are automatically visible to all Administrators. For example, Career Events, Job expirations, Interview Schedules display to all Administrators.

Can other users see my calendar?

Calendar appointments are visible to other users if you chose to “Broadcast” your calendar appointment when it is created. If the calendar event is not broadcasted, it will not be visible to other users. Although you are able to hide or broadcast personal appointments, take note that some calendar events are system wide and therefore are automatically visible to all Administrators. For example, Career Events, Job Expirations, Interview Schedules display to all Administrators.

How do I add an event to the Upcoming Events section of Users’ home screen?

The Upcoming Events section displays calendar events scheduled for the upcoming seven days. Because this tool looks to the user’s calendar, an event would have the be added to the user’s calendar to appear in the Upcoming Events section.
